Herbs - Marjoram
The marjoram plant is a Mediterranean aromatic herb known for its aromatheraputic and culinary uses. Marjoram and oregano have often been confused through the centuries as they are part of the same family and look similarly. However marjoram’s is sweeter and not quite as pungent as oregano. It’s used to add a wonderful herbaceous flavor to roasted meats, in tomato and vegetable dishes and as part of a Polish and German sausage recipes.
Marjoram is antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, helps with digestion, reduces the risk of cancer, and helps heart health.
